This unit makes full-cube ice—or dice ice—that can be used for virtually anything, from soft drinks and liquor to bagged and dispensed ice. Cooled with air, it uses refrigerant to freeze water on the evaporator plate. With an acoustical ice sensing probe and active sense technology, this Manitowoc Ice IDT0750A ice machine head uses soundwaves to detect ice thickness and ensure a consistent harvest every time. The icon-based touchscreen helps users program the machine according to ice production volume and time. Featuring a stainless steel exterior clear-coated in DuraTech™, this unit can be wiped clean and does not reveal fingerprints or smudges. The internal components are protected by AlphaSan® antimicrobial to prevent the buildup of bacteria. Running 24 hours a day, diagnostics inform users when maintenance is needed. Note: This unit must be paired with an ice maker bin or ice dispenser.
