The Koolaire KYF-0250A undercounter ice maker creates 258 pounds of ice in the right conditions. Water is frozen into cubes as it flows over the evaporator grid. When they are ready, the cubes are released into the bin below, which has a 134-pound capacity that is ideal for peak meal times. To lower beverage costs, ice is formed into half-sized cubes that cool drinks quickly.

The Koolaire KYF-0250A ice machine has an air-cooled condenser that breathes through the front. This design enables other equipment to be placed close to the machine's sides without hindering ice production. Additionally, the unit's lid slides up so that it does not take up aisle space when opened. Controls are straightforward and include a cleaning cycle, so employees can spend less time on cleanup. Its air filter can be removed, cleaned, and reused.
